I was blessed to be a YW leader at that time. I gave you my email address, but have never seen where to contact you until visiting this website. Scott, my husband and I have 6 bio. (Caucasion) children and adopted 5 (African American) children. Two of our sons came from the foster care system at ages 9 and almost 11, now 14 & 15. They are wonderful young men & especially loved your dancing, as did Nakia, our only "White" child left at home. Thank you for being such a wonderful role model for my sons. We live in the very small community of Dietrich and even though there is quite a diversity of races in this little town because of our adoptions and others who followed suit, it's such a blessing to have someone like you & your band for these young people to be proud of & connect with. The Lord guides each of us on different paths and I feel as Mary that I am blessed above all women to have these precious children to love and raise in the truth. It was such an exciting time for us all to watch you perform. I appreciate your generosity, with that of your band in coming and lifting all of our spirits. Thank you for your testimony.
